We are doing a complete bathroom gut and will be changing from a tub/shower to shower only. The plan is to install a standard shower head with a rain head on a long shower arm above it. I would put the rain head arm through the ceiling but my attic is hands and knees only and the access hole is on the opposite side of the house from the bathroom and I have bad knees. Plus, there is the freezing problem of installing water pipes in the attic. Thank you.

I understand what he wants to do. he has picked out a 3/6 divrter valve. he is plainly going to use the 2 heads and the sprayer but does not show the rain head.

confused as to what you are doing. are you installing this shower head on the wall AND installing a rain head , that is not shown in you links? or, are you going to use this shower head but seperate the hand held form the head? I do not think th hand held will stay in place like you are trying to do I would buy a shower head that is designed to ceiling mount

He wants to install an overhead shower head with interior supply as a regular overhead shower head entails plumbing changes (above the stall) and has to consider the plumbing will also be in an exterior wall (exposed to freezing temperatures). Rough Idea- The shower arm/head you show is perfect (IMO) for what you want to do.
